Yet the man who started out as an engineer and was trained at the prestigious french college of Ponts-et-Chaussées has left a clear imprint that extends far beyond design.
From fashion to furniture to automobiles, Quasar Khanh's resolutely modernist vision brought a breath of fresh air to the 60s and 70s. Creative and pragmatic, he was at once a mathematician, engineer, designer and artist.
This book, curated by Anthony Vaccarello, is an exclusive reprint of the 2017 French edition originally published by Albin Michel. It looks back at the life and work of this shadowy creator of incomparable and atypical genius.
