Saint Laurent Editions presents Charlotte Perriand, Voyage photographique dans les archives.
Charlotte Perriand is certainly known for her interdisciplinary approach. As a designer, architect, artist and scenographer, she saw no boundaries between the disciplines, viewing them as an integrated whole. Less known, perhaps, is her practice of photography, which she used not only to document and archive her work but also to capture her personal moments. This unique book takes you deep into Charlotte Perriand's photographic archives. Through her images, it reveals her passion for nature, particularly the mountains, and showcases intimate moments, many captured by her friends, including Pierre Jeanneret, with whom she shared a close bond.
By bringing together her photographs, drawings, and sketches, this book—conceived by Anthony Vaccarello at the request of Pernette Perriand, and Jacques Barsac—offers an extraordinary journey into the work of a visionary, adventurous, and committed woman.
