Saint Laurent Rive Droite AND ANTHONY VACCARELLO PAY tribute to the visionary Charlotte Perriand, presenting a rare selection of her photographic works. Alongside her activities as an architect, designer, and town planner, in the 1930s Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) was also an avid photographer.Shot by Perriand herself, these images encapsulate her distinctive perspective, one that redefined modernity across design, architecture, and art.
On view at both Saint Laurent Rive Droite Paris and Saint Laurent Babylone, the exhibition highlights a series of striking compositions that echo Perriand’s mastery of framing and structure, showcasing the multidisciplinary approach inherent to Perriand’s genius. These exclusive works will also be available for purchase.
Complementing the exhibition, Saint Laurent Editions will release a dedicated volume, offering an intimate journey through Perriand’s artistic lens. Crafted with meticulous attention to materiality and design, the book intertwines textured notepads with full-page imagery, reinforcing the Maison’s commitment to tactile, timeless storytelling.
This exhibition and publication coincide with the unveiling of Saint Laurent’s reissued Perriand furniture pieces at Milan Design Week, a continuation of Anthony Vaccarello’s vision in celebrating pioneering creatives whose influence transcends time.
