Saint Laurent Rive Droite presents Talks, a series of filmed conversations with personalities from cinema, photography, and art, close to Saint Laurent and to Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello. Shot in black and white, guests are interviewed by French journalist Augustin Trapenard in a minimalist setting, while answering intimate questions about their lives and careers.
The fourth episode features Canadian director, actor, producer and screenwriter David Cronenberg, who recently directed The Shrouds, a film co-produced by Anthony Vaccarello through Saint Laurent Productions.
During the interview, Cronenberg talks about the film The Shrouds, which reflects his personal life, almost as an autobiography evoking the disappearance of his wife. He discusses the importance of the human body and touch in cinema, death and its physical impact. He also delves into paranoia, the future and the past.
Available on Youtube and all major podcast platforms.
The Shrouds will be released in theaters in USA on April 18, in Canada on April 25, in France on April 30.
